WAYNE MORRIS - PRESIDENT, CEO

Wayne Morris has more than 25 years of experience in executive management, strategy, marketing, sales and technical roles in software, services and hardware companies. Most recently Wayne was senior vice president of worldwide marketing for McDATA where he was responsible for enhancing McDATA’s market position, corporate strategy, messaging, product and services portfolio, corporate communications, as well as strengthening channel relationships.

Previously, Wayne was the CEO and Managing Director of Citect Corporation, an industrial automation software company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.  During his tenure, Citect significantly expanded its international footprint by establishing direct operations in UK, Germany, France and South Africa, adding new offices in China and consolidating and restructuring its presence in Australia and America.  Citect also entered an emerging growth market to utilize real-time industrial information for business process improvement, performance management and collaborative manufacturing. 

Prior to Citect, Wayne was Chief Marketing Office and senior vice president of corporate marketing for BMC Software Inc. located in Houston Texas. Morris initially joined BMC Software to help define BMC Software’s open systems strategic initiatives including product direction for service level, application and data management. His expertise helped to establish BMC Software’s PATROL® product line as the industry-leading application service management solution.

Wayne has also served as vice president of marketing at Enterprise Software Corporation (ESC), business unit manager with HP, and as a consultant, professional services manager and account representative at Wang Australia.  Wayne has spoken at many industry conferences and is co-author of “Foundations of Service Level Management” published by SAMS in 2000.


PETER LONG - VICE PRESIDENT, FOUNDER AND CTO

Peter has more than 23 years experience in helping companies across multiple vertical industries improve their operational performance.   Most recently he was the founder and managing director of OpX solutions, a professional services company based in Australia focused on providing production improvement consulting to help customers achieve operational excellence. 

Previously he was the general manager for a new software business unit within Citect Corporation that developed a manufacturing intelligence solution that extracts and analyses information from production systems to support operational improvement and better business decision making.  In this capacity Peter grew the business from four people to a global team of over fifty people who delivered solutions into Australia, USA, UK, Netherlands, Germany and South Africa. The unit included software development, consulting, marketing, sales and implementation.  In addition to managing the business, Peter was the primary evangelist for these new capabilities and met with numerous companies, across many industries, worldwide.

Before starting the software business unit at Citect, Peter was responsible for the professional services organization comprising more than eighty consultants delivering industrial automation and information management projects across multiple industries including multi-million dollar, fixed-price projects.  Prior to Citect, Peter spent significant time in the mining industry in maintenance, engineering, project management and business management including roles with statutory responsibility.

In addition to mining and minerals, Peter has developed significant expertise and experience across a number of industries including manufacturing, CPG, and food and beverage.


SCOTT PRICE – VICE PRESIDENT, SALES & MARKETING

Scott Price has more than 22 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business strategy in the information technology industry.   His background includes Fortune 1000 companies and founding two IT start-ups that were successfully sold to larger firms.  Most recently Scott was with Fujitsu Consulting where he was responsible for establishing executive relationships in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, and Arizona for services related to technology practices in SAP, Microsoft development, managed services, and industry standard solutions. 

Previously, Scott was a founder and Vice President of Sales and Marketing at CustomerCentrix, a web-services solution company.  During his tenure, CustomerCentrix created new applications such as LearnCentrix® that are provided as software as a service in a fully hosted environment.  Scott formulated a national strategy that resulted in long-term contracts producing highly profitable client relationships with such companies as Alltel, Fidelity, Windstream Communications, U.S. Department of Energy, Sandia National Laboratories, and United Agri Products.

Prior to CustomerCentrix, Scott was Business Development Executive at Acxiom Corporation, a customer information management company.  Scott was responsible for diversifying Acxiom’s traditional marketing database service offerings into the healthcare and insurance industries. 

Scott has also served as Vice President of Sales at Advantage Medical Systems, Inc., Sales Representative for Systematics, Inc., and Programmer/Analyst for Electronic Data Systems (EDS).   He has served on various boards, is a frequent public speaker, a published author, a founding member of the Colorado Business Association Council, former Chairman of the Colorado Internet Keiretsu, and an active member of several industry groups such as CSIA, CACI, and CXO Network.
