Lafayette, Colo. (October 14, 2008) - myDIALS, which is pioneering a new standard in operational performance management, today announced the appointment of Dan Sell as vice president of sales. In this role, Dan will be responsible for expanding sales and extending strategic channel partnerships in the manufacturing, oil and gas and healthcare industries.

With more than 20 years in the industry and a track record of growing revenues at a diverse background of companies – from start-ups AlertLogic, Paymetric, PentaSafe (acquired by NetIQ) and Kintana (acquired by Mercury Interactive) to BMC – Dan brings extensive sales experience, including expertise in the Software as a Service (SaaS) industry, to myDIALS.

“By combining a SaaS model with a new approach to operational intelligence, myDIALS is leading the pack in one of the most important market sectors,” said Dan Sell. “Utilized by thousands of decision makers worldwide, myDIALS stands out as a solution that is changing how information is managed, shared and applied to day to day business. I look forward to applying my experience selling into Fortune 1000 accounts as well as mid-sized enterprises to this fast growing start-up company.”

Prior to myDIALS, Dan served as vice president of sales for AlertLogic, which provides compliance and security solutions using a SaaS delivery model for mid-market enterprises. Here, he helped the company triple revenues in less than two years and was an integral participant in securing venture funding. Previously, he was vice president of sales for Paymetric, a software company that provides solutions for managing, protecting and integrating payment card transactions in enterprise systems, most notably SAP. While at Paymetric, he led sales, marketing and product marketing, and increased company revenues multiple times. Dan also held executive sales positions at NetIQ, PentaSafe (acquired by NetIQ for $255 million), Kintana (acquired by Mercury Interactive for $225 million), BMC Software and Triad Systems. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration, with an emphasis on Marketing, from California State University, Chico.

“With a great track record, including serving as VP of sales for two VC-backed startups, Dan is the perfect addition to the myDIALS executive team,” said Wayne Morris, CEO of myDIALS. “Dan joins at a time when the company is expanding, and his impressive credentials of customer and revenue growth will help take us to the next level of user adoption and industry leadership.”
