Data Collection and Integration
myDIALS has the following main ways to collect and integrate your data to create an interactive, analytical dashboard:
- Manual data entry
- Small volumes of data that do not reside in an automated system.
- File Upload
- Data that can conform to a myDIALS specification. A customized template for your environment is available for download.
- Email file
- Any information that is sent to the myDIALS server is immediately transformed, loaded, and processed.
- Direct connection (myCONNECTOR)

Data Security
Security is a concern with any hosted application. myDIALS addresses this concern with a multi-layered approach to security that consists of the following elements:
- Authentication of users
- Authorization that identifies what dashboards and information within dashboards each user is able to view
- Encryption of all data flowing between your location and the myDIALS hosting environment (both from data sources and to user browsers)
- Separate data stores for each client
- Physical security of the hosting environment
